    3. Kemp seekers - E. M. Kemp married D. T. Glover in Smith Co. 27 Feb 1878. Can this E. M. be same as Edgar McKinney Kemp? If so, he would be born about 1858 (men generally marrying at about age 20). NO is the answer..not same. And the WWI record states Edgar McKinney Kemp born 1896 in Defeated so definitely the above E. M. Kemp NOT the same searching for but could be father re age of the E.M. we are searching for....(so the Allie b 1893 next to Edgar McKenny Kemp in Cemetery is probably the spouse of our WWI vet). So? Can Hailey & Maggie Kennedy Kemp be his parents? Hailey was 13 years older than Maggie re cem. record and Maggie would have been 15 when E. M. born in 1896...so a possibility. (Does anyone have the obit of Maggie or Hailey/ Edgar M. or Allie?) Checked the Smith History book and found nothing on either E. M. nor D. T. or Allie. Here we go again....and it's Monday...so hope I am thinking straight! Melba

    3. Hello to Kemp Seekers- In response to the post regarding E.M. Kemp and D.T. Glover: D.T. Glover that married E. M. Kemp is Darius Tennessee "Tennie" Glover, the sister of my great-grandmother, Mary Louvenia "Molly" Glover. Family Bible records show that Tennie married Murph Kemp. She was born April 7, 1855 and died August 11, 1885. Family record also indicates that Tennie and Murph had no children. After Tennie's death, I have found no further record of Murph. If questions, please let me know. Thanks Fay C.
