    1. DURRETT
    2. My husband's great-great grandfather Thomas DURRETT had a brother, Reuben DURRETT, who migrated to TN from AL. Reuben was a Col. in the civil war and an attorney in Louisville KY. He and his wife had three children. One son died, but he was survived by a son, William Thomas who became a physician in Louisville and a daughter. He did extensive research on the DURRETT line and donated his work to the Library of Chicago when he died. GGGF Thomas migrated to AR where he homesteaded until sometime after 1880. He returned to Tuscaloosa prior to his death and is buried there. His sons migrated to LA to homestead prior to 1900. Would be interested to hear about your mother's line if it connects to Col. Reuben. Carolyn

Bartholomew Durrett This is not a line I have researched myself... except for Levy and Willis.... the info I have comes from other family persons.
