    3. John, My suggestion would be that you phone the Nashville Archives prior to leaving town and get information from them. I have always found them very helpful and it is time-saving to be "armed" of the information, etc rather than appear when a lot of patrons are there and then a lot of waiting...been there, done that. You might also phone the Carthage Library. It has been my understanding that records that Sue M. Petty and others have compiled are also placed there.
