Patti....I did not think it would be on a check out basis. Still wonder if it would be available on interlibrary loan from the Nashville Archives. Worth a try. When we were on a visit to the Carthage Library in the 1980's I wanted to see 2 different books...both had been "borrowed". Carmack Key told me that one had been taken twice by unknown researchers returned and borrowed again. No one could figure out who was doing it. So I went to Virginia State Archives and requested the same books and would you believe both had been "borrowed" and not returned? I quit asking. Library in Carthage. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing this book and gladly paid to have pages xeroxed. I would so love to have my own and would wish we could gather enough interest to encourage the publishers to do a reprint, maybe even with family research updates. This book is in the Genealogy Room and is not on the check out availability. Melba, I don't know but sure would like to believe you could view this book at Nashville Archives. Good luck with your hunt. Gotta go now. Last minute preps for Hurricane.
