I notice one of your lines is Allen......did you notice the messages about Peter Turney signing over his 640 acre Rev War land grant to a Mary Allen of Davidson County in 1784 - land on Harpeth River.....etc. So I have to ask you about the Allen family, if there is a possible connection to the Turneys. I did find an Allen was in charge of the foot soldiers Oct 1780 Battle of King's Mountain, etc. Again, Peter Turney settled near Dixon Springs, SMith Co.....but was earlier in eastern TN as a surveyor.
