    2. Vicki, In the Smith Co Deed Book B 1800-1835, John Sevier and George Gordon sold to Harmon(Harmam) Gregg 200 acres 20 Nov 1800 page 17-18. This Harman Gregg married Susanna Smelles 20 June 1796 Wilson Co, TN marriages. Vol. 2 1835-1852 Peter Gregg(Grigg) and Branch Gregg sold to Rhodeham G. Bryant a tract of land on Goose Creek 28 April 1836 page 297 deed book N. Peter Gregg to William Goodall a tract of land on Goose Creek 23 Aug 1822 page 238-239 deed book H. I looked for a deed for these men and found none in the books I own. I did find an Andrew Gregg in the 1910 Smith Co census but his birth date is 1840-- Andrew Gregg age 70 married 2 times b.TN, father b.TN, mother b. TN, wife #2 Azzie E. age 22 married 1 time 2 years had 2 children, none living. There was also a James B. Gregg on the 1880 Smith Co census district 8, James B. Gregg age 50 b. Maryland ,coach driver, father b. MD, mother b. MD, wife Lucinda C. age 50, Divine age 12 male, Martha H. age 6. This James B. died Dec 1, 1884 of congestion of the lungs, per the Smith Co Newspapers page 64. I hope this helps.
