correction; I have Henry Jenkins Sr. pension record. According to this record he died of typhoid fever in Stevenson or Stephenson, Alabama on September 23 1863 and his widow Lucinda Gregory Jenkins died on 4 May 1864 in Macon County TN.

Better check again :-) because I have the pension papers also. It's Sept. 28, 1863 and is even written in at least one place as twenty eighth day of September 1863. Mary Knight
