Here is the very little I have on William & Susan. As you can see, these families kept with the tradition of the time & area and are very circular -they keep marrying & intermarrying cousins. Even name children the same so that it is often hard getting the right child with the correct parents. Fletcher BARNETT b. 1800-1810 SC (probably the Greenville area, but that is pure speculation) Fletcher was a young child when his parents - William & Kiziah WALKER BARNETT moved to Smith Co, TN. His grandfather, David BARNETT owned land in Greenville, SC which he purchased in 1800 so that is why I speculate that he was born in the Greenville area - but he might not have been, either) Fletcher married Mary "Polly" GILL. They are listed in the 1830 census for Smith Co, with 3 males under the age of 10. Mary "Polly" GILL was the daughter of John & Elizabeth "Betsy" TUGGLE GILL (Barnett's of Smith Co., TN by Albert BARNETT) One of the 3 males from the 1830 census is never named. The assumption being that he died before the 1840 census Sometime between 1830 & 1840 Fletcher disappeared. There werre a couple of nephews that had his name as a middle name but it disappeared from the family after he did and the nephews only used the initial "F" after Fletcher disappeared.
