Henry sr. was born before the 1830 census in Macon co. and died on April 13, 1868 in Stevenson, Alabama. He served in co.D 9th Ky. inf. civil war.

According to Henry Jenkins pension papers records his death in several papers as died Sept. 28th,1863 at Stephenson (sic) Ala of Typhoid Fever. Stevenson Ala. is spelled several different ways. This death date is repeated several times on different documents within this file. I was thinking there was another date in her somewhere but haven't found it yet. Will let you know if I do.
