A bit more on the Silas "Syke" Kemp family. Up until the time "Syke" died he owned a general store in the community of Prosperity which is located near Red Boiling Springs, Macon Co. TN. His daughter, Loupervis, {she went by the name of Purvis} was married to Hooper West at some point in time after the 1930 Macon Co. TN census.
