Lynch is: George L. died 1840 to 1850, probably in Smith Co, TN. Court cases were found in 1856 (County Court Minutes, 1860-65, pg 162, July Term 1861) which shows that Bersheba Lynch (died 1856) was the widow of George L. Lynch and the children may be Arcey or Arery, William, Milly, James and maybe Avery Lynch. Bersheba died in 1856 according to County Court, Jan Term 1860, pg 416, Samuel Allison was Adm. Cannot find Bersheba or children on 1850 census. Names on 1861 court record are hard to read. NEED - George's estate sale and settlement records of heirs, probably 1840-50 Book P, 1853-57, pg 388, shows Barsheba Lynch's estate, need copy ? Barsheba's estate sale and settlement records of heirs, probably 1845-58 Where was Wife, Barsheba, and children in 1850, not on census in Smith Co, TN deeds where his land warrant # 71632 was sold, after 1861 Other record which shows children names, 1840-1865.cannot read some name on pg 162 I also have proofs that George Laurance Lynch was the son of William and Sophia Lynch. William died in Edgecombe Co, NC in 1787. Sophia and her children (William, David, John, Geraldous, Martha, Polly and Milard) moved to Smith Co, TN around 1806, although, George may have been there earlier, but I cannot find any proof of that.
