I was wondering while researching Davis in DeKalb if you found anything on this family. Cheryl, This is a different Judy. Are your sure your Meador line is from Germany? My husband had that line and they show as "Meads" in England in the 1600's. My husband had Holman(s)in his background. They were from Kent, England as far back as the 1600's.
