On the 1900 Smith Census we find HH73 of John W. Green b May 1878. This John W. md Abbie Cox who had first been married to James A. Swindle on 29 Nov 1898 and had dau Nancy J. Swindle. In this 1900 Abbie is the wife of John, md 1 year, she b Jan 1873; with on James b Feb 1900 and st dau Nancy J. b Dec 1889. The next enumeration is HH74, that of Jordan Reed (I have info on him) with his wife Octavio b Sept 1872. Octavio was the d/o William Joseph Green and Martha Vaden. Can anyone tell me the relationship of John W. Green to Octavio Green? Can anyone tell me the parents of John W. Green? Need info on James A. Green b Feb 1900, the son of John W. and Abbie. Melba, Was Martha Vaden, that md. William Joseph Green, the sister of James Sampson Vaden that md. Olive "Ollie" Cox? Abbie & Ollie were both daughters of James Mattison Cox, and he was my g-grandfather. My grandfather was Nathan B. Cox listed in HH75 one house from Abbie & John W. Green on the 1900 census. Unfortunately, I haven't done any research on Abbie and John W. Green so don't have any info on their son James A. Green beyond the 1900 census.
