Hi Judy, I'm going to keep this in mind but am unsure who it is exactly...my husband's 6th-great grandparents John Davis and Abigail Duncan of DeKalb and Smith Co., TN apparently had 8 children from 1798-1815, most of them sons. I don't have children listed for any of those sons, but it's possible that Wiley was a son of one of these sons. I'd guess Wiley O. Davis was probably born around 1845, give or take. I'll see if I can find any sons listed any where for John and Abigail's sons. TN He maried Eliza Beach in Edmunson Co.KY Children: Henry Lee born 1871 Jacob W. born 1873 Sarah born 1876 He married a Sarah Johnson in Edmunson Co.KY June 30, 1878 . He got shot in the left leg at or near Dixon Springs April 1865 he was treated at the Carthage hospital.
