While ya'll are talking about these Sullivans. A friend of mine bought a house in Huntsville, Alabama. When they went to renovate it they found all kinds of awards an medals and certificates from The United States Army to a Master Sargeant Warren Eugene Sullivan. On one of them, his wife, Julia R was mentioned. According to his retirement certificate says he retired in 1980. I really hope somebody out there recognizes this person , because it is such a waste for them not to be with his family. Let me know if anyone knows these people. Hi Joe, you might try www.deadfred.com as one option...scan in a certificate and enter the family's names. I think the site is gaining in popularity and it's a way to share old photos and try to find the owners. I've uploaded a few myself and have some WWI and WWII group photos from my husband's great-grandpa and great uncles that I'd like to scan in and post there (but the photos are huge so trying to figure out the best way to do this). People can search under surnames, etc. Just another possibility...you never know!
