Charlie, You can moderate me and/or remove me from this list, but I don't think the heavy handed shutting down of a discussion of valid concern is appropriate. The current Rootsweb AUP states that anything posted on rootsweb become property of TGN to be posted on any of their subsidiaries. That means ALL the free information posted on the Smith Co website can be absorbed and incorporated into ancestry's paid subscription site. And if you are willing for that to happen then you are not protecting the rights of those that have contributed to Smith County.
