Hello, Fay, I have 6 people named Miles West and 12 named Jesse West, all of whom including myself, have the same common ancestor. While other people were naming their kids John and William the Elder Miles West and his off-spring were naming their kids Miles and Jesse and it all began in Smith Co. TN about 1808. I have the information you sent but that's not the Miles West I'm looking for. The Miles West I'm looking for died at some point in time between 1850 and 1860.
