I agree with George on the 3 sets of Massey's in Smith Co. cir 1810 My direct paternal line is #1 William and Candice Edwards Massey My direct Maternal line is the Pleasnnat Massey line. One correction however, Andrew Jackson massey is the s/o of Pleasant Massey and Evie Shaver Pleasant and Evie had 11 children. One son Leondias Washington Massey married Mille Jent and had two children. Captain Buie "Cap" Massey, who was one of Middle Tennessee leading Baptist Preachers and his sister, Evie Rebecca Massey, married Andrew Washington Perrigo. They were my maternal great grandparents. I have tracked the #3 William Massey family equally to my own. It is the #2 William Massey line that I have trouble tracking. Would love to communicate with Linda Caldwell and Jeannie Fairchild and other privately if they want more info. Ron Massey, Indianapolis ________________________________ From: George W. Ron; Do you have b/d on Evie Rebecca Massey? The 1900 Macon County census book gives her birth day as may of 1867 but I have her brother "Cap" Massey as June 16th. 1867. were they twins? H.
