I was born and raised in Davidson County and my paternal ancestors were from Smith County. I use to go to the TSLA when home, but family is gone now. I live in Missouri and have Parkinson's, therefore, no more trips to Tennessee. I have hesitated to request anything from anyone; but the bottom line is I need help....as you go through the index of anything you have for Smith, Macon, or White County, may I impose on you to look for HUDSON. The parents of my ggg grandfather John William HUDSON elude me, and has for forty years. He was born ca. 1796 Campbell County Virginia,? married Nancy Ann Davis ca 1820 in Roane County ?, had seven children, Mary Ann, William Carroll, Elijah Berry, Thomas Allen (my lineage), Martha E., Ennis H., and Don Daniel. John HUDSON died 1849 in White County. I can prove none of this except the Thomas Allen HUDSON lineage from the family Bible. Thanking you in advance.
