Smith County, TN census from 1820 to 1930 are online. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tnsmith/tngen/census.htm 1820 through 1870 are transcribed and the images also are on there. 1880 is transcribed on Family Search.org site but images are on Smth Co. site. and a link to Family Search.org 1900 -1930 images are online at Smith Co. website but not transcribed.
