The Duncan Name in my family goes back before the Civil War. So for me to find a Duncan male in that family line would be next to impossible. I wish there was more I could help with, Cheryl Davis-Holman In a message dated 3/17/2010 9:40:02 A.M. It would appear that your Duncan line is the "missing link" and may be able to help these Duncan's prove their lineage. Some of these Duncan's have already been DNA tested, but I was hoping, as were they, that you might be able to find a Duncan male of your line to also be tested. It doesn't have to be a brother, it could be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd cousin, uncle, as long as they are male, surnamed Duncan, descended from your line of Duncan's. The others are willing to split the cost with you, hoping that you will consider it. I would appreciate it if you could get back to me, either way so that I can let Terry Duncan (DSA), Fred Duncan and Mary Ann Dobson know. Thank you in advance for your consideration Cheryl : ) Sincerely, Kathy Duncan Cawley
