Elba's son John married LeeRoy's daughter Eliza Jane.(yes they were first cousins) John Savage Dycus and Eliza Jane Dycus married and had eleven children. Elba"Elby" Dycus was bon in 1821 in TN. Had 9? children by two wives: Polly Dixon, mother of 5?,second wife, Mary? The first three children of Polly were Lucinda"Cindie"b 1844; Wm Jackson"Bill" b 1846. Clensa "Clem or Clemzia" b 1849. John Lee or John Lee Savage Dycus, b 1863; Burnita, b 1859; Eliza, b1863 (7-9) Queen, Lizzie, Jane. LeeRoy Dycus, b 5/19/1828-d 9/2/15. He had 3 wives. 1st-Polly Donoho; 2nd-Maria "Mariah" Donoho; ( This was my Grandmother, Ma Dycus' Mother). 3rd wife-Eliza Jane Clark. My grandmother was the 6th child, b 2/20/1865-d 6/19/1942. John Lee"Savage" Dycus and Eliza Jane Dycus, cousins and my mother's parents as I said were first cousins. Ma and Pa had 11 children: Otha Lee, Stella Dycus Russell, Jip Lawson, Magnus H, Lucian Drury, Della Dycus Porterfield, Lula Gertrude "Joe" (MY MOTHER), who married Ray Allen Binnion and Cornell (Nelle) Dycus Huddleston (3 died young; Truman, William, and Ruby). My parents had 12 children: Ray Kenneth Binnion, Prentice Leedon "Bill", Ruth Dale who married a Dycus, Charles Carmel, Melba Sue "Gammons", John Robert, Bobby Gene, Connie "Bush", Barbara Ann "Long""McDonald", Paul Edward, Don Randal, and then me Lula Jane "Stanford". I was named after my Mother and BOTH My Grandmothers---Lula Gertrude(Mama) Eliza Jane Dycus, who Mama called MAMMY, and Lula Belle Jenkins Binnion---hence my name Lula Jane.
