Does anyone know if there are divorce records available for Macon Co TN between 1870-1880? I am trying to determine if the Dolly Gaddis, divorced, 1880 Macon Co TN Census could be the same as the Dolly Gaddis of 1870 Butler CO KY and 1860 Jackson Co TN, and subsequently if she is the daughter Dorothea Gaddis named in the 1866 Monroe Co KY deed of John Kirby, resident of Smith Co Tn, Macon Co TN and Monroe Co KY. She is the only Dolly (nickname for Dorothy/Dorothea) or Dorothy or Dorothea Addis/Gaddie/Gettys I have been able to locate in census records. The deed names all the daughters and their husbands in the deed except for Dorothea - she is mentioned with surname Addis, but no husband. Thanks Sharon Tabor
