MRS OSHIE BUTLER Services for Mrs. Oshie Butler were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with burial in the Genie Butler Cemetery at her home in the Gladdice Community. Otis Johnson officiated. Mrs. Butler died Wednesday afternoon, November 23, 1983, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. She was a native of Jackson County and the daughter of James B [Babe] and Tennessee Ramsey Kemp and was a member of the Smith County United Methodist Church. I have Lansford Kendred "Kenny" Kemp but don't know what should be correct. He listed in several places with all different spellings.
