I'm sorry, I already deleted the email after abstracting the info, but when I got the names of Alexander Flatt's children in my files and saw that he had a daughter, Rose who died in infancy, I realized I have another "Rosa Lee [Rosie] Flatt" who married John Simpson Dycas, 2 Sep 1897 in Jackson Co., TN. I do not have life dates for her, but show John S Dycas as, 3 Jun 1866, Jackson Co., TN ~ 14 Jan 1960, Macon Co., TN. I don't show parentage for Rosa Lee Flatt. Does anyone know who SHE was?? Sue G

Sue, I too have in data a Rosie Elizabeth (Lizzie) Flatt no dates md to John Simpson (Simp) Dycus b abt 1846 - no other info. except that Simp was s/o Elba Dycus b 1821 of Macon Co; d after 1880 prob Macon Co. Elba md Mary (Polly) Dixon b abt 1825 - d after 1880...they had several children. Simp also md Nancy (Nan) Massey b about 1840. Elba also md Mary A. grenade b about 1830 - no more info Elba was s/o William Billy Edward Dycus of N.C. d about 1870 of Macon Co. md Minerva Naomi Carver 1799 N.C. 1888 in Macon Co. prob. SS HH 67 in the Macon Co. 1850 Roots Book published a couple of years ago...has infor on some of these families also. I am sure I connected some of this also to an old newspaper article which I no longer have...deteriorated. I have done no more research for this Rosie so there may be more available but know she is not the same as Rosa d/o our Holland family.
