Melba I would love to have the three columns that you have on the Drivers. My greatgrandfather was Jordan Driver he was married to Kathryn (Kattie) Vaughn. Their children were Jim, Charlie, Dave, Matilda and my grandfather Andrew Jackson b 2-10-1852 in Franklin Co Tn. I think that Jordan and Kattie came from SC or maybe NC? I don't know for sure. I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks a lot, Also how are you connected to the Driver's? Can you send them by email or do you need my address? I would be happy to pay the postage. Thanks again Pat
PS again...the Drivers are connected through my Green connections. I don't have a lot on the Drivers but do know there has to be someone in Macon Co. who has a lot of this infor for us. Melba, Thank you so much for the information. Unfortunately, I think none of these are mine. Here is what I have on my Williams. I took another look at census, and I was wrong on some of the birthplaces of the earlier children. Below is what I have on them.: A. W. (Anderson) Williams born ca 1811 in Virginia married Sarah A. (?) b. ca 1821 in Tennessee Children: Thomas Arthur Williams - b. ca 1840 in Mississippi (married Victoria Terry) Samuel E. Williams - b. ca 1842 in Mississippi (died during Civil War) Thaddeus E. Williams - b. ca 1845 in Tennessee (died during Civil War) Robert Charles Williams - b. ca 1846 in Tennessee (married Angeline White in Tenn.) Sarah Jane Williams - b. ca 1848 in Illinois (married Napoleon Bonaparte Johnson in Hartsville) James Williams - b. ca 1849 in Illinois (married in Texas) Matilda Williams - b. ca 1852 in Illinois (married in Texas) Mary Williams - b. ca 1855 in Illinois John Williams - b. ca 1863 in Tennessee Some researcher gave the maiden name of Sarah A. (wife of A.W.) as Adams. I don't know if this is correct, but there is a Nathaniel Adams and his wife, Nancy, living next door to this family in 1860 in Smith County, TN. I believe that most of the family removed from Smith County in the mid 1870's. I would love to find a probate record or cemetery record in Smith County that would date the death of A.W. Thanks again for your kind assistance. Thanks Nancy. I have these 10 children of T.M. and Mary Etta as Stephen Calvin "Cal" Gregory; Anna, Clara, Alice, Grace, Mary, Nannie, Eunice, Thomas (is his middle name Morgan also?) and Albert. I do not know if I have them in correct birth order or not and have only dates for Cal. Did Thomas and Albert marry? So Thomas Morgan Gregory who d 1914 and md Mary Etta Ballou had a son Thomas and a son Stephen Calvin. Do I then have this correct that the aforementioned Stephen Calvin was named for his grandfather Stephen Calvin Gregory?
