I would suggest you call your local health department....they could direct you to the right department. I looked under google for this and olena referred to "death by murder" in Russia.....I too have never heard of this term. Neither word appears in my two medical dictionaries or nursing books. Try Rutherford Co., TN. There were several Williams located there on the 1810 census. There are records indexed beginning with 1804 for this county and it shows a Samuel Williams there between 1804-1827. http://www.tngenweb.org/rutherford/recindex.htm Nancy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Belinda Etheridge" <bayne@midwest.net> To: <TNSMITH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 24, 2005 6:48 AM Subject: FW: [TNSMITH] Williams, Samuel > They were in Tn. Thanks so much to Melissa Barker. I finally have death certificates for Joseph Newton Knight and Rebecca Jenkins. The death certificates differ in the birth information I have for them so I'll give you both. Joseph Newton "Newt" Knight b. Dec. 31, 1855 (DC April 1858) Smith Co. TN d. Sept. 21, 1933, 821 Lischey Ave, Nashville, Davidson Co. TN. Burial Sept. 22, 1933, Red Boiling Springs, TN. Was living with his son Walter H. Knight at the time of his death. Age 75y 5m. Son of Avery Knight & Katie Willis Rebecca Jenkins b. October 04, 1855 (DC April 5, 1853) Smith Co. TN d. Aug. 31, 1942, Nashville, Davidson County, TN. Burial Sept. 1, 1942, Red Boiling Springs, TN. She died at the Davidson County Hospital where she had been for 3 yrs. Age 89y 4m 26d The DC gives Rebecca's father as Joseph Jenkins and mother unknown. The informant was her son Walter H. Knight and apparently he didn't know who her parents were. She was (I'm sure) the daughter of Jefferson Jenkins and Martha Parkhurst. Unfortunately neither of the death certificates gives the name of the Cemetery. I still believe it was Whitley, hopefully I can find out for sure one day. Mary Knight

Per Cal's Column August 30, 1956 Dutch Jenkins, believed to have married a Hesson; Dutch Jenkins was the father of: George, Bill and Lee Jenkins, all born in Georgia; Mary Jenkins and one other child, name not known. Thats just about all he says about Dutch Jenkins son of Samuel Jenkins Sr. Lee Jenkins & Rebecca Boston's daughter Mary Elizabeth Jenkins married John M. "Morgan" Gregory. I don't have a John Grey married to any Jenkins? I doubt you want to call me Melba, I live in Illinois. :-) I will send you some Jenkins reports to your e-mail. Mary K. Please excuse me, but I think I am LOST in this Jenkins mire. Is the paragraph Lee (Leroy) Jenkins state that Lee is the spouse of Rebecca and NOT the wife of Rawlston Dutch Jenkins? Did not someone give this info out that Lee was the spouse of Rebecca Boston? AND are the children listed below those of ?????? I had that Lee & Rebecca md and had Mary Elizabeth Jenkins who married a John M. Grey....Is that info wrong???? Melba (Mary if you can give me a phone number I will call you.) You can send it to my email MelEl512@att.net. -------Original Message------- From: Mary Knight Date: 07/22/05 12:49:45 To: TNSMITH-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TNSMITH] leroy and rebecca boston jenkins Gary they also had a son Jacob Jenkins 9 yrs old listed in the 1880 census.
