    1. Henry B. Clark & Martha Brown Clark

    3. Looking for CLARK, BROWN, BURFORD, APPLE, ALEXANDER, LEE, FORD, Looking for decendants of Henry B. Clark and wife Martha Brown. Henry was born abt 1802 in either TN or VA. (depending on which census you look at). Martha was born in 1806 in Amherst Co., VA to Maurice Brown and Catherine Hughes. Martha died in 1866. I am looking for the graves of both Henry and Martha. Henry died 19 May 1887 in Snow Creek, Smith Co., TN. Martha died in 1863 in Granville, Jackson Co., TN. Henry married a second time to a woman named Margaret. She had 2 sons, Norman & Sidney. This according to the 1870 census of Smith Co. Norman was 14 and Sidney was 13. In 1880 a neice of Henry's was also living with Henry & Margaret. Lillie Mahaney age 11. I have not figured out where she fits into our line. Henry & Martha Brown Clark had 7 children: 1. Frances 13 Oct 1835 m: John P. Burford; 2. Lemuel B. 1839 m: Lydia Ann Lee; 3. Morris Brown 26 Oct 1841 m: Nancy Hughes Ragland; 4. Seaton Taylor 1845 m: Tennessee Jane Apple (d/o J.C. Apple & Mary Jane Holford) m: 2nd Cynthia Brevard Alexander; 5. William Clark b: 1847, no information on him. They also had two infants who died at birth. One in 1837 and one in 1843. I would love to find decendants of any of the above individuals. I have a picture of Henry B., as well as his sons Seton and Morris. (Morris was my gr gr grandfather). I also have a picture of either Lemuel B. or his son Lee G.- not sure which). Frances and John had 11 children: Blanton Ward; David Daniel; John Phillip; Martha Eliza; Mary J.; Betty; Lemuel Maurice; Seton Taylor; Fannie Hawkins; Thomas Alvin; William Brittle. Lemuel B. and Lydia Lee had 4 children: Lee G.; Katherine M. "Cassie"; Samuel Lucien; Frances H. Morris Brown and Nancy Ragland had 10 children: Martha; William Henry; Lemuel Hardin; Charley Morris; John Beverly; Frances Ethel; Samuel Jones; and 3 infants who died at birth. Seton and "Tennie" had 3 children: Le Compton Holford; Wilbur Armstrong; John Bonnell. (this line ended with Le Comton's children.) I would like to find graves of all of these people. The only one I have been able to locate is Le Compton's, Tennessee Jane Apple Clark's, and Seton Taylor Clark's. Morris Brown Clark took his family to Texas in 1888. I have all the information on this portion of the line, including pictures. Deb --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
