Estes Buford (Sport) Wilkerson (21 June 1911 – 15 June 1988) married Willie Mai Craighead (2 May 1916 – 8 Nov. 2000), daughter of Walter Lawson and Callie Ann (Allie) Kemp Craighead, 18 Jan. / June 1933. [NOTE: SS Death Records provide Estes’ DoB as 21 Sep. 1911 and Willie Mai’s DoB as 3 May 1916.] I need some help: 1) Was the marriage 18 Jan 1933 or 18 June 1933? Sport's obit says June and Willie Mai's says January. I am inclined to believe June as Willie Mai likely got it right for Sport. 2) Was Sport's DoB 21 Jun 1911 as on his tombstone or 21 Sep. 1911 as per his Social Security Death Index? 3) Was Willie Mai's DoB 2 May 1916 as on her tombstone or 3 May 1916 as per her Social Security Death Index? We had talks on the Dean Hill airplane crash in 1932 with parts of the plane shown, had an old Eastern Star badge shown, had the Hackett family bible on display, several hand woven items, doll buggy over 100 years old, old photos and record books from the Riddleton area, old ship clock, a walking stick from the Winkler family, an old ladle with story of its history. old magazines, a report on the Halliburton ancestoral home in Scotland, and many stories of interest. You should come visit sometime. Next meeting is Nov 21st. JW

Thanks for trying anyway, Charlie. I can see how it would be a difficult thing to list them on the website. I was trying to go from the old census map you have on the site, and just wanted to make sure things hadn't changed too much. I'll keep looking for my folks--found a few--the rest are just temporarily hiding from me. if you look at the read file on each census year it will tell you the districts and for example 1850 did not show districts but in 1860 its shows 20 districts http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/tn/smith/census/1860/0000read.htm there are 21 in 1870 http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/tn/smith/census/1870/0000read.htm so to put the districts online we would need to specify which year so thats why its just a data file on my computer <g> its a handy tool but not exactly accurate....
