Hi Bernice...to my knowledge there was never any children before my grandfather...his name was Jim Alvis and he was born Nov.1900...there was only one other sibling...a boy...do not know his name for their mother (Emmie Holt) supposedly died in child birth in 1909 and the boy was adopted and moved to California where he became a doctor...thank you for your time and RE:.
