    1. [TNSMITH] Cemeteries along Goose Creek or Hwy 10
    2. A. Murdock
    3. Can anyone tell me if they know the names of the cemeteries close to Goose Creek? My ancestor, R. G. Briant?/Bryant (aka Rhodehaven or Rhodeham G.) owned property on Goose Creek. It was originally in Smith County, then Macon County, and for all I know it could now be in Trousdale County. I would like to find where he is buried, but with so many cemeteries close to Goose Creek or along Hwy 10, I do not know if I will be able to find him. He died in 1851. I think his wife's name was Lucy (possible Stewart) and she died in 1841. Thanks so much for any help. Ann

I have a copy of Hickerson Parker's will so I do have proof of who his children are, but I want to know who his parents and siblings are. 2. I wouldn't be surprised if this is so. I suspect the full-size, hardcover book isn't available very often, however. I checked ebay just now and found 48 copies of the 69 page, softcover "History of Smith County Tennessee." The material in this 2004 reprinted booklet is "extracted from Goodspeed's History of Tennessee 1887" and includes "historical and biographical sketches." $6.00 to buy now, or make bid. Does anyone have this booklet? What is your opinion? Worth it/not worth it? RE THE REQUESTED LOOKUP: My copy of the book is downstairs in my "family reunion" bin. I'll check for you a bit later today and let you know what I find.
