    2. For those of you who have Ancestry.com...open up the site, click on "Search" at the top...then on your RIGHT, you will see under BROWSE RECORDS and click on "View All Ancestry Titles"..says NEW in blue out to the side of it... Then about 1/2 way down the page on the LEFT, you will see "_Tennessee State Marriages, 1780-2002_ (http://www.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=1169) " This MAY "Link" from this email IF you have ancestry.com....but anyway how you can find it later... You can put in Counties, husband or wife's name and come up with the exact marriage date and county of marriage...I from 1780 to 2002 ANYWHERE in Tennessee... I even found MINE??? :>) Anyway, thought you "out of stater's" would like this... 3. I am now reliving a day in my life back in 1992 as I do often but can feel your glee to the fullest. I was raised by a step dad who was great and never knew my biological father and his family. At the age of 49 I took a Leap of Faith and called him. I was prepared to be denied but was welcomed not only by him with open arms but by his entire family which included for me a bunch of cousins, aunts and uncles, two half sisters and a step brother. As a single child I now have a living sister and brother!!! Unfortunately I lost my father after 4 years but they were wonderful years and I still have the remaining members of the family. The hole I had in my life has been filled by my biological family as no other people could have filled it. I know how happy this finding of family is to you. Only those of us who have experienced it can really understand it to the fullest. Others can understand to a certain extent but those who are searching for their ancestors can understand better than others. People ask me all the time...have you FOUND your birth family or siblings? WHY don't you LOOK for them? My answer is, I have made some effort...when God says it's the right time, it will happen...he's ALWAYS ON TIME...never late and never too early...maybe later than to MY wishes, but HIS timing is ALWAYS PERFECT. And TONIGHT WAS PERFECT!!! His name is Rick...he lives in Snohomish, WA...he says it better than "I" do...we laughed about the way I attempted it. It's kind of like, "Shelbyville"....bet "I" can beat HIM with that one... Anyway, thank all of you...you are very kind... 2. Dear Sue, Congratulations!! My niece, who was given for adoption, at birth, just spent the Fourth of July holiday with her birth mom. When we found her (I was in on the hunt as were my other two sisters and the birthmother) she had a daughter. My sister was a grandmother. The years since have been wonderful. My sister never stopped hurting for her daughter until we found her.
