Jeannie it looks like cassade on the CD image in tiff format which is better than the online images.... it was wasn't till 1880 that they state the area of the enumeration... however if one can find the location of a close by household it can narrow down the search area! I have a marriage for a Wiley Davis and Mary Hagerwood they were married in Smith co. TN and are listed on the 1870 Dekalb Co. TN with children Henry H. age 5, Nancy J age 5 and Henry S age 4 months . Mary is the daughter of Jacob Hagerwood. I can't find them after 1870. I was wondering while researching Davis in DeKalb if you found anything on this family.
