Following are some of my ancestors from Shelby Co., KY. The Granades/Grenades were present in the 1850 census of Shelby Co., TN. I am desperately trying to find some sort of marriage record for Mary Etta Granade who married Who married William E. Jackson. It is very likely that they married in Shelby county. There are so many William Jacksons in Western Tennessee at that time (1850) that it is impossible for me to tell which, if any of them are the one I am looking for. I am hoping that someone in Shelby Co. has access to marriage records around that time (1849-1855)that may help me solve a longstanding family mystery.
