>From _Gravestone Inscriptions from Shelby County Cemeteries_ (I think this is V. 1, but that's cut off my photocopy), p. 266: Wherry Cemetery Visited May 17, 1970. This cemetery is located about a half mile behind Chambers Methodist Church which is on Chambers Chapel Road. It may be reached by a dirt road that begins a few hundred feet south of Chambers Methodist Church and wanders back through fields and woodland. The cemetery is located at the end of the dirt road. It is fenced and appeared to have been cut over during the previous year. End of quoted material. My kin in that cemetery -- the various Lemons, the Lynns, the Wherrys, and all the Wylies. My second great grandparents, Lewis and Catherine Wylie are buried there, along with some of his brothers and sisters and their descendants. Please ask your researcher to pay my respects to my family as well.
