I live in Green Cove Florida and have trouble getting Tennessee records. My grandmother was born in Clarksville. My ggg grandparents were James H Lawrence b TN ca 1800? and Maria Rawlings b. TN ca 1805. Their children were Ann Elizabeth and possibly four others, Ann Elizabeth married Hiram D Connell Aug21 1848 but I don't know his parents names. James, Maria (whose name was listed as Reed by one family member), Ann and Hiram all died in Shelby County. Do anyone know of a source that might tell me where they are buried.? I can get census records for Tennessee in Jacksonville but everything else I'm kind of bogged down.
