My cousin Lynn has already introduced himself (Lynn Laster), so tack my name onto his names also, and add the above. Our lines came from (primarily) Chester Co SC and Duplin/Sampson Cos NC. Many Chester Countians moved to Shelby/Fayette/Tipton in 1845. My Wylie family was one of them. Lewis Wylie and his wife Catherine Wylie (yes, that was her maiden name -- they were apparently cousins) moved from Chester Co with their children, and had several more born in Arlington. Their son, Harvey, was my great grandfather. He worked in the general store which still stands in Arlington. I have *access to* all three volumes of _Gravestone Inscriptions from Shelby County Cemeteries_, and will do lookups, BUT -- I work full time and have an hour commute each way, and the books are *not* in the library in the town where I work, but in a town close to the ink-spot on the map where I live. My time to research is limited -- please be prepared to wait for a response! Unless your ancestors were buried in Brunswick or Arlington -- then there's a good chance that they appear on the copies I have made which also list my ancestors. I'm glad to see this list! Thanks, Rhonda!
