Looking for information on the above mentioned names. My gr. gr. grandmother's name was Artalissa (Artylissa) Shelter...born Oct. 22, 1822 in Anderson Co., Tenn. married James T. Smith Feb. 10, 1841 in Shelby Co., Tenn. I'm not sure of the correct spelling of her surname, but family states it was Shelter, however it was recorded as Shetter in a Shelby Co., marriage book.....Any information will be greatly appreciated.....Thanks, Delo
