Researching my MAYO roots. I have hit a brick wall with James and Elizabeth. Hoping someone can help. This is what I know: James MAYO, born around 1803 in North Carolina married Elizabeth (UNKNOWN, born in NC). They had the following children: Napolean b. 1829 Penelope b. 1830 Albert b. 1832 (Pitt County NC) my great grandfather Sarah b. 1834 Lucian b. 1838 Henry b. 1841. The family moved to Tipton County, TN around 1842 and their last child, Laura was born in 1843. Albert and his family moved to Memphis around 1892. They lived on Vollentine Ave. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Karol Mayo
