Hello, Could someone please tell me if the newspaper, COMMERCIAL APPEAL, was in circulation in the year of 1938. If so, did they carry the obituaries for connecting counties and towns. Looking for obituary of great-grandfather from Hardeman Co., and Bolivar, TN. Died 19-April-1938, buried in Middleburg Baptist Cemetery. No information on headstone, just GRANDFATHER.
