I am seeking information regarding Herman J and Katherine Watson who married in Shelby Co Tn on May 6th 1928. Herman's age was 22 and Katherines was 19. I know that Katherine is supposed to be the child of a Loftin Richard Watson of Jefferson Co Al. I have not been able to find either of them in the social security death index in tennessee. I would also like to know if there are something like a city directory for the Memphis/Shelby Co area that might list them and their residence. Any suggestions for sources of info greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
