I am searching for a Thomas and/or James MORTON who might have moved to Shelby County circa 1830. James was in the 1830 Union county census and then he and his family disappears. Thomas we have absolutely no info on except that he is a brother to my gg-grandfather, David MORTON. He was born in NC and was probably living with a James or Tilda MORTON in 1830. Thanks so much.
