Hello, I'm new to this list, and so bear with me... I just received the death certificate of my maternal gmother, and am now researching info contained on it-- Two items puzzle me and I am wondering if anyone out there knows the answers: 1. Hospital where death occurred in 1917 is listed as "Presbyterian." I need to know how to obtain information about this hospital and its records, if they still exist. 2. The Funderal Home listed: Collins-- would a City Directory be the best bet, if this funderal home no longer exists-- again, I'm interested in getting the burial records as Elmwood is having difficulty locating her records, even though she is definitely buried there and has a headstone.
