Molly, if you're interested in Arlington, there is an excellent book on the history of the town by Rachel Herring ... oh drat, I can't recall her last name. Possibly Davies. I know the copy at the library in Arlington circulates (unusual for local history, but I've had it out myself). It's referenced in the footnotes in one of the 3 volumes of the cemetery listing books. I'm sure you'll find Hays information there. My lines are HERRING, WYLIE, JONES, GRIFFIN, and others. Primarily WYLIE, and nearly all from Chester County, SC. I will try to dig out the copies of pages from the book I made and send the exact title. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mollie Molnar <MollMol@email.msn.com> To: <TNSHELBY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 07, 2000 2:16 PM Subject: Re: More researchers, please > > -----Original Message----- > From: TNSHELBY-D-request@rootsweb.com <TNSHELBY-D-request@rootsweb.com> > To: TNSHELBY-D@rootsweb.com <TNSHELBY-D@rootsweb.com> > Date: Friday, January 07, 2000 8:50 AM > Subject: TNSHELBY-D Digest V00 #3 > > > Have "lost" family in Shelby in the 1850's.
