My interest is very early through the 1840's my family were Chickasaw and Cherokee mixed blood families and others who were allied with them. Some of the families are my line and others I have found mentioned in various records concerning my families; Allen, John R Cherokee mixed blood trader, b ca 1780 Allen, Wiley b. abt 1805 son of above and Catherine (Chickasaw possible daug of Thomas Love & full blood wife) Allen, Levica (Vicey)b. abt 1798 daug. of John & Catherine m. 1st Robert Bayley Chickasaw Agent, 1812 , 2nd Christopher Moore b 1801 Arkansas Post (possible mixed blood) Allen, Mary Alice b 1813 Chickasaw Bluffs, m Harvey Bacon b. 1800 OH. Moore Family - Christopher(see above), Colbert b 1803 Arkansas Post, Catherine b 1790 La. (maybe Terr.) Annie b Ms 1820. Christian, Wyatt, b Va appears on many documents of my Chickasaw and several Chickasaws named children after him. Fletcher, Joshua, signed marriage record for Mary Allen some family connection not yet found. These families ranged on both sides of the Mississippi in TN, Northern MS and Eastern Arkansas.
