Researching TODD, WHERRY, HARRIS, JONES, Bernetta MCDONALD, DALEY, SMITH. I mother was born in Memphis TN but was raised in the North However my grandparents and g-grandparents lived in Memphis TN many years and other relatives were born in Memphis TN and Dyer Cty. My is mixed with Creek, Cherokee and Irish on my mother's Maternal side and on her paternal side they are African American and Cherokee Indian. I would like to know a girl was black or mixed and 14 years old back in 1922 or a girl age 10 years and black what school would they have attended in Memphis TN back in 1922.
