My Nathan FORREST is Nathan Bedford Forrest. I have quite a bit of information on him, but I'm having trouble finding much on 3 of his half-siblings from his mother's second marriage. I would especially like to find the family of his only sister who lived to adulthood, Mary Jane "Mollie" Luxton FONTAINE, b. @ 1848. I also have very little information on brothers Joseph LUXTON b. between 1842-1846 and Dickie LUXTON, b. @1850. Both served with N.B. Forrest in the 3rd TN Cavalry, organized in Shelby Co. The Luxton children were likely born on one of the plantations that N. B. Forrest owned--perhaps in Panola Co., MS, and lived with their mother Miriam FORREST LUXTON in Raleigh Springs, Shelby Co., from 1861 - 1868.
