Squire Richert raised my father Paul Parker, his grandson is now mayor of Olive Branch, Ms. I believe some of their family moved to Memphis. I don't live in Memphis but I do have a current telephone book, maybe I can help you. Bob Parker Sgtmajrp@aol.com >> Bob, I was sure I had a reference to Olive Branch Ms, but going through my records, I don't see it. The RICHERT that I am most closely related to was Mary Neely RICHERT. She was married to my grandfathers brother, Clayton William McCLURE. Mary was born sometime around 1895 to 1905 (this is a guess on my part because Clayton was born 1896). Mary was probably born in Memphis, because all her brothers and sisters were. Mary and Clayton were married March 20th 1930 in Hernando Ms. Most of my McClures were from Panola County Ms, so I'll have to find out if Olive Branch is close to Panola County. I have been told that Mary's family owned car dealerships in Memphis and that Mary was "disowned" for marrying Clayton (which I always knew as "Uncle Will"). I'm not sure what was meant by "Mary's family", but if it was her father, his name was Clyde Western RICHERT, and her mother was Fanny May CASEY. Mary and Uncle Will were married many years and both died in Inglewood, Los Angeles County California. I used to visit them as young girl in the 60's, and they were wonderful people. If any of these names sound familiar, I'd love to share. thanks, Lois Rodgers kenoticket@aol.com southern california
