I need to see land records up to 1850. My ancestor paid taxes on land but I have not found out how she acquired the land. Did she get it from a spouse? Tn Grant? of if she purchased it herself, from whom! In the final settlement of probate her grandson was supposed to receive money and I have not found if he ever received it. Dorothy Cox Sugar Land
