Deborah, I just know that the Blackwoods should be easy to find out about in Shelby County ( memphis) because The Blackwood Brothers gospal group is very popular there and around the South. I went to school with one of their daughters so I guess it's their hometown. Alot of them are connected and you could get names off of Album covers and work backwards.BIO's should be easy to find. Robyn <Allied families are: Robertson,Blackwood, Kesterson, Dorsey, Wallace, Propps, Hale, Stephenson. Does anyone know anything about these families or the migration into Shelby/Hardeman Cos during this time?>
